Prayer Request
Written by Mark Van Steenwyk : August 2, 2007
You all might have already heard that a section of 35W in Minneapolis has collapsed and fallen into the Mississippi. This bridge is blocks north of our neighborhood. We don’t know if anyone we know were among the killed or injured, but this is going to affect many in our city for years.
Please pray. Pray for the injured, pray for the families of the dead.
Bring your peace to those suffering.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Show your church how to embody your presence in our city.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Christarchy! is a growing network of small groups for people who want to put the ethical teachings of Jesus into practice.
Submergent is a network of leaders who, embracing the Anabaptist impulse, are living into the Kingdom of God in a postmodern, post-colonial, post-Christian world. Together, we will re-baptize the Christian imagination!
Anchored in the West Bank neighborhood of Minneapolis, Missio Dei is committed to following Jesus' way of peace, simplicity, prayer, and hospitality.
The Missio Dei Breviary includes morning and evening prayers for one month. Edited (and freely shared) by Missio Dei, it draws primarily upon the Gospels, reflects Anabaptist convictions, and emphasizes missional commitment.

We are praying for everyone over there. Awful news.
I will keep your people and you in my prayers in the coming days and weeks as people live through this tragedy.
Peace,
Norm
As always…praying for Christ to make Himself known through His people where you are.
