New Course, Spring 2006
Written by Mark Van Steenwyk : September 19, 2005
A while back I mentioned that I’ll be teaching a course at Bethel Seminary. A number of my blog readers are friends from Bethel Sem, and so I thought I’d post an update on the course.
ML250, Re-Envisioning the Church: An Adventure in Applied Ecclesiology. The course will be offered
on Thursday evenings, 7-10:15 p.m. and is open for registration. I am team teaching it with Joel Nelson, Coordinator of Multiplication and Mobilization for the Minnesota Baptist Conference.
If you are a student at Bethel and have an ML requirement to fill, consider taking ML250. We need at least 10 students in order to have the class. This course would introduce some serious ecclesiological reflection into a program that has been weak in this area.

Christarchy! is a growing network of small groups for people who want to put the ethical teachings of Jesus into practice.
Submergent is a network of leaders who, embracing the Anabaptist impulse, are living into the Kingdom of God in a postmodern, post-colonial, post-Christian world. Together, we will re-baptize the Christian imagination!
Anchored in the West Bank neighborhood of Minneapolis, Missio Dei is committed to following Jesus' way of peace, simplicity, prayer, and hospitality.
The Missio Dei Breviary includes morning and evening prayers for one month. Edited (and freely shared) by Missio Dei, it draws primarily upon the Gospels, reflects Anabaptist convictions, and emphasizes missional commitment.
