US and THEM

I direct you to a thought provoking post from my friend Chris, who urges us to cling to our unity in this time of division. Here’s a preview:
Therefore, I beg anyone reading this who has been drawn into communion with God, who is part of the great “us” of the Church, don’t allow the ideologies of this America to falsely turn those who are “us” into the “other.” Conservatives, your liberal brothers and sisters who profess Christ are NOT the “other.” They are “us.” Liberals, those conservatives that you blame for every horrible thing in the world, they are not the “other” but the “us.”
