Cohort Meeting on Thursday

December’s meeting of the Twin Cities Emergent Cohort will be 1 week early. This month we’re meeting on December 14th (a Thursday)…at the usual time (noon) at the Acadia Cafe.
This month, Jan Bros will share briefly about herself and Abbey Way Covenant Church. This will be followed by a presentation and guided discussion by Tony Jones.

New Media and the Incarnation
Today, churches are looking at the new media for ways to “spread their message,” but are these methods at odds with the incarnational nature of the gospel? Let’s talk about satellite campuses, video venues, TV ministry, and evangelism websites…

now, i realize the nature of this conversation could very well make my request impossible to fulfill: but if there’s any way that somebody could take notes or even record the evening’s discussion, I’d be very interested to read/listen/learn along with you.
I can look into having some sort of recording device there, but since the cohort meeting is in a few days I’m not very confident that we’ll have something set up for this week’s meeting.
Yeah, I was hoping to hide in a corner and listen in on (especially) this one, but my schedule won’t allow it. I wish I had one of those nifty digital voice recorders to lend you.
