1-2-3 Meme
Written by Mark Van Steenwyk : February 6, 2008
I have been tagged for the 1-2-3 Meme by Joe. The game is to grab the book nearest to you and turn to page 123. Find the 5th sentance and share the next 3 sentances with everyone. Then you tag five people. I’m game. I’m glad that the book that I happen to have next to me makes me look smart (but boring):
Faith and Wealth: A History of Early Christian Ideas on the Origin, Significance, and Use of Money by Justo Gonzalez
“Carpophorus may have been no more than an imperial slave; yet such slaves, in spite of thie servile status, were often powerful administrators. This one had enough influence to be heard by the prefect of the city. A number of widows and other members of the church deposit their money with Callistus.”
Ok. So I tag: Tony, Graham, Chris, Jason, and Eliacin.
