An Ironic Faith

I hate pain.
That’s why I‘m silent
around people who are belligerent
or strange.

I hate violence.
That’s why I support strength,
paying for crimes,
and being good citizens.

I love women.
That’s why I urge them to
vote their conscience
and start email campaigns.

I love God.
That’s why give Him
all the glory
and then just pray.
