Church and Money الكنيسة والمال

Like Mark, our church is also fundraising for a building that can serve as a permanent home in the midst of the community we love. مثل العلامه ، ونحن ايضا الكنيسة جمع الاموال لبناء يمكن ان تصبح دائمة في وسط الصفحه الرئيسية للمجتمع نحب. Through this process, we have had to ask a lot of questions about how we can raise money and still remain faithful to the way of Jesus. ومن خلال هذه العملية ، كان علينا أن نسأل الكثير من الاسءله حول كيف يمكننا ان نجمع المال ولا يزال يبقى وفيا لطريقة يسوع. It seems to me that an “anything goes” philosophy is probably not acceptable, but how do we begin to discern which approaches are okay and which are not? ويبدو لي ان "اى شئ ممكن" الفلسفه وربما غير مقبول ، ولكن كيف نبدأ التي تميز النهج حسنا والتي لا؟
For instance, this weekend we were at my wife’s grandparents’ house for Thanksgiving. فعلى سبيل المثال ، في عطلة نهاية هذا الاسبوع كنا في زوجتي الاجداد دار لتقديم الشكر. To me, selling advertising space is probably not okay…Naming rights for the sanctuary? لي ، بيع الاعلان الفضاء قد لا يكون حسنا… لتسمية الانسان ملاذا؟ The “Taco Bell Library”? "تاكو بيل مكتبه"؟ Sponsors names flashing on the screen between worship songs? اسماء مقدمي اللمعان على الشاشه بين العبادة والاغاني؟ But what about other common church fundraisers: bake sales, garage sales, and car washes. ولكن ماذا عن جمع التبرعات للكنيسة المشتركة الأخرى : اخبز المبيعات والمرآب المبيعات ، ويغسل السياره. Are these acceptable? هذه هي مقبولة؟ What about sending support letters and asking people directly for money? وماذا عن ارسال رسائل الدعم ومطالبة الشعب مباشرة لهذه الاموال؟ What basis do we use to discern the appropriateness of these methods? فعلى اي اساس نستعملها لتبين مدى ملاءمة هذه الوسائل؟ How do we balance the reality of the need for money, in our case for money that comes from outside of our church community, with the desire to approach the need for money with integrity to our biblical values? كيف نوازن بين واقع الحاجة الى المال ، وفي حالتنا لان المال ياتي من الخارج من الكنيسة على المجتمع ، مع الرغبة في نهج الحاجة الى المال مع السلامة لدينا قيم الكتاب المقدس؟

I have always seen that inviting people to partner in ministry is the approach that I am most comfortable with. لقد كنت دائما أن ينظر الى دعوة الناس الى المشاركة في وزارة هو النهج الذي انا اكثر ارتياحا. This is where I share my God-given vision for the ministry with others and they give according to their identifying with the mission/vision. وهنا اشاطر بلادي وهبها الله لرؤية وزارة مع الآخرين وانها تعطى وفقا لمع تحديد المهمة / الرءيه.
I have personally raised support for my mission twice in my career; both times it has been a great faith building experiment. لقد طرحت شخصيا لدعم مهمتي مرتين في حياتي المهنيه ؛ مرات على حد سواء وقد كانت تجربة بناء ثقة كبيرة. Both times, God provided SO clearly that it was a confirmation about that ministry. كل الاوقات ، شريطة الله بكل وضوح انه كان تأكيد على ان وزارة. And people never missed a check. والناس تفوت ابدا شيك. When they know you and buy into the vision, it is much more effective and God honoring-because there is a level of ownership and accountability. عندما أعرف أنك وشراء في الرءيه ، ومن اكثر فعالية وتكريم الله - لأن هناك مستوى من الملكيه والمساءلة.
I think it is heinous to think we could have a corporate sponsored sanctuary etc. More heinous is the idea that people by their giving to the church thinking they can influence policy or theology according to their giving. واعتقد انه لالبشعه اعتقد اننا يمكن ان يكون ملاذا للشركات التي ترعاها اكثر البشعه وما هو فكرة أن الناس من قبل الكنيسة لاعطاء التفكير انها يمكن ان تؤثر في السياسة أو اللاهوت وفقا لعطاء. This happens all to often in the contemporary church. كل هذا يحدث في كثير من الاحيان الى الكنيسة المعاصرة.

There’s no “balance” involved… Certainly there can be a conflict, but not one you can resolve via negotiations between God & Satan, for example! ليس هناك "توازن" ينطوي بالتأكيد… لا يمكن ان يكون هناك صراع ، ولكنها ليست يمكنك حل عن طريق المفاوضات بين الله و الشيطان ، على سبيل المثال! You stand for what you stand for, and need to do that, whether or not it interferes with getting enough money for the particular implementation you would like. لكم لماذا تقف موقف ل، والحاجة الى القيام بذلك ، سواء كان أو لم يكن يتدخل في الحصول على ما يكفي من المال لتنفيذ ولا سيما تريد.
What about ‘ads’ that say: “This business is helping with what we’re doing”? وماذا عن 'من الإعلانات التي تقول :" ان هذا العمل هو مساعدة مع ما كنا نقوم به "؟ You don’t, that is, need to out-&-out sell space for people to say things you don’t approve; you simply thank them for a gift. كنت لا ، وهذا هو ، على الحاجة الى خارج & شاملة بيع الفضاء على الناس ان اقول اشياء كنت لا توافق عليها ؛ لكم الشكر لها لمجرد هدية. Which is unlikely, after all, to bring them any commensurate financial return! وهو امر غير مرجح ، على كل حال ، اي لجعلها تتناسب مع العائد المالي! So their support is not, after all, a financial transaction, but an indication that, at least in theory, they are with you. حتى دعمها ليست ، رغم كل شيء ، المعاملات المالية ، ولكنها اشارة الى انه ، نظريا على الأقل ، وهي معك.

If what I was doing wasn’t working, after five years, I wanted to try something else. But that’s another story, & my wife’s expecting me upstairs for dinner right now!) (ونحن ضاعت الاموال ، ولكن في النهاية لاننا قمنا بتشغيل المشروع لاكثر من شخص اخر لانه لم يعد لدينا مثل شعر الاحاله ؛ كنا قال كنا نعرف جميعا ان نقول أننا ما يكفي من الاوقات ان تحصل من المرضى ، في حين كنا التحيزات وكانت تأمل في لمواجهة ، حتى أستطيع أن أنظر ، دون تغيير. واذا ما كنت أفعله لا تعمل ، بعد خمس سنوات ، أردت ان تحاول شيء آخر ، لكن ذلك قصة أخرى ، & زوجتي تتوقع لي الحق في الطابق العلوي لتناول العشاء الآن!)
