We have another Christarchy meeting coming up on June 2nd!  The first Christarchy meeting went well–good turnout and good discussion. Tenemos otra reunión Christarchy próximos hasta el 2 de junio! About 15 of us gathered in my living room to explore what it “looks like” to live out the Gospel.  The conversation tended towards the abstract–but it was definitely better than I expected.  It is no easy thing to get a group of people from different backgrounds to come together to talk about what it “looks like” to “live out” the “Gospel.” Alrededor del 15 de nosotros reunidos en mi salón para explorar lo que "parece" a vivir el Evangelio. La conversación tiende hacia lo abstracto, pero es definitivamente mejor que yo esperaba. To facilitate the group discussion for our next meeting, I want us to ponder 2 questions–and maybe spend time discussing these questions when we gather in a couple weeks. The Gospel-call is a call to the margins. El Evangelio de llamada es una llamada a los márgenes. It is a call to serve the poor, the oppressed, those in bondage–it is a call to bring good news to the abandoned. Es una llamada a servir a los pobres, los oprimidos, los que están en cautiverio-es una llamada a traer buenas noticias para los abandonados. It is a mistake to think that brokenness and poverty are urban issues. Es un error pensar que la miseria y la pobreza son los problemas urbanos. If we look closely, we can find abandoned places and abandoned people in every neighborhood–whether it is urban or rural, small town or suburban. Si miramos de cerca, podemos encontrar lugares abandonados y personas abandonadas en cada barrio-si es urbano o rural, pequeña ciudad o suburbanos.

Here are the two questions: Aquí están las dos preguntas:

1) What are the abandoned places and who are the abandoned people in your neighborhood/town/area? 1) ¿Cuáles son los lugares abandonados y que son el pueblo abandonado en su barrio / ciudad / zona?

2) What is keeping you from ministering to them? 2) ¿Cuál es el mantenimiento de un ministerio que usted a ellos? What is it that you lack? ¿Qué es lo que le falta?
