A while back I mentioned that we want to have a sort of “mobile soup kitchen.” I talked to my good friend Dave (who is a chef, caterer, and welder) about different options. حين عودة ذكرت ان اردنا ان تكون لدينا نوع من "مطابخ الحساء المتنقله." لقد تحدثت الى صديقي ديف (من هو Chef ، وتقديم خدمات المطاعم ، واللحام) حول الخيارات المختلفة. Basically, he said the cheapest way to build our own sort of food trailer would be to bolt down a set of portable propane burners on a trailer, along with other equipment (coolers, storage, and counter space). اساسا ، وقال : ارخص وسيلة لبناء منطقتنا النوع من الغذاء ستكون مقطوره الى اسفل الترباس مجموعة من البروبان الشعلات المحموله على مقطوره ، الى جانب معدات اخرى) واجهزة التبريد والتخزين ، ومكافحة الفضاء). This would be best used for preparing things on the spot…but would be best for cooking smaller batches repeatedly (unlike the previous approach which would involve cooking it all in advance and then keeping it heated as we go around). وهذا من شأنه ان يكون افضل المستخدمة لاعداد الأمور على الطبيعة… ولكن سيكون من الافضل للطهي اصغر دفعات مرارا وتكرارا (وخلافا للنهج السابقة التي تنطوي على الطبخ كل ذلك في وقت مبكر وبعد ذلك ابقاءها ساخنه ونحن نمضي في جميع أنحاء). Make it fun. جعلها متعة. Feed people. إطعام الناس. Meet people. ولقاء الناس. Soup kitchen done missionally. حساء مطبخ missionally القيام به.

Look into the legal permits for this thing before you do it. النظر في التراخيص القانونية لهذا الامر قبل ان تقوم بذلك. The city council will have some things to say about code for mobile food carts. المدينة سيكون على المجلس ان اقول بعض الاشياء عن قانون للجوال الغذاء العربات. There was a well publicized case of the Ponces who sell the best tacos in town out of their Mi Pueblito cart here on the east side. وكان هناك بالاضافة الى نشر حالة من ponces أفضل من بيع سندويشات التاكو في البلده على الخروج من العربة مي pueblito هنا على الجانب الشرقي. The city made them comply to a code which cost them a lot of money, which then caused them to violate a suddenly dormant code. المدينة جعلها تمتثل للقانون الذي يكلفهم الكثير من الاموال ، التي قامت بعد ذلك دفعهم الى انتهاك قانون فجاه ناءمه. I’ve looked into it a bit. لقد القيت نظرة الى انه قليلا. There is some flexibility under the Good Samaritan laws. هناك بعض المرونة في إطار القوانين الخيري. If we are giving food away for free, then there aren’t the same sort of issues. وإذا اردنا اعطاء الغذاء بعيدا عن الحر ، ثم ليست هناك نفس النوع من القضايا. This is what allows different groups that feed the poor to do so without a permit. وهذا ما يسمح للجماعات مختلفة ان اطعام الفقراء على ان تفعل ذلك دون تصريح. I am on the opposite coast trying to do this in a more rural setting. وانا على الساحل وعلى النقيض من هذا تحاول ان تفعل اكثر في تحديد المناطق الريفيه. We have tons of rural poor with no community - each little area has a tiny little church - but no kitchens - so are praying about a mobile kitchen and I came across this that just happens to be about 3 hours from us: لدينا ألف طن من فقراء الريف مع اي مجتمع -- كل منطقة قليلا قليلا الكنيسة ضءيله -- ولكن لم مطابخ -- حتى هي الصلاة عن جوال المطبخ وانا صادف ان هذا يحدث فقط الى ان حوالى 3 ساعات من مطار الملكه علياء الدولي :

I know it’sa bit more expensive than your original plan - but I thought you might like to have a big dream to shoot for like we are. It'sa بت أعرف أكثر كلفة من الخطة الاصليه الخاصة بك -- ولكن اعتقد انك قد ترغب في ان يكون لها حلم كبير لاطلاق النار على غرار ما نحن عليه. They even have a small seating area and toilet facility. بل انهم قد صغيرة ومنطقة الجلوس مرفق مرحاض.

I’m on the far east coast of Canada trying to do a similar thing. أنا الآن على الساحل الشرقي لكندا تحاول ان تفعل نفس الشيء. We have so many rural poor that we’re trying to figure out a way to both feed them and create some community. لدينا عدد كبير من فقراء الريف ان نحاول اكتشاف طريقة لاطعام كل منها وايجاد بعض المجتمع. These areas have little old church buildings - but no kitchen - so we’re trying to figure out a way to take the food to them. وهذه المناطق قليلا الكنيسة المباني القديمة -- ولكن لم مطبخ -- حتى نحاول اكتشاف طريقة لاتخاذ الغذاء لهم.

I know it’s more than your budget calls for - but if you were interested in partnering with the Red Cross or a local food bank I think you’d find some deeper pockets?? اعرف انه اكثر من ميزانيتك تدعو -- ولكن اذا كنت مهتمة في اقامة شراكات مع الصليب الاحمر الدولية او المحلية للاغذية واعتقد ان البنك كنت تجد بعض جيوب اعمق؟؟ Just a thought. مجرد التفكير.
