From Urbana…another quick post من اوربانا سريعه بعد آخر…

I’m tired and ready to go home. انا متعبه واستعداد للعودة الى ديارهم. I miss my wife and feel pretty fried out. الانسه انا وزوجتي جميلة فرايد يشعر بها. Tomorrow afternoon, I’ll be flying back to Minneapolis, so this will be my last post from Urbana. بعد ظهر غد ، وانا سأكون الطيران العودة الى مينيابوليس ، ولذلك ستكون هذه رسالتي الأخيرة بعد من اوربانا.
I don’t want to give you a play by play of the last two days, so here are just the highlights: انا لا اريد ان اعطي لكم مسرحيه تقوم به من قبل من خلال اليومين الماضيين ، وذلك وهنا يبرز فقط :

Biblical Seminary مدرسة الكتاب المقدس has a booth here. له جناح هنا. It was exciting to hear about how they are trying to reimagine seminary education around missional ideas. لقد كان من المثير ان نسمع عن كيف أنهم يسعون الى المدرسة reimagine التعليم missional حول الافكار. Most folks within the emerging church or missional movement recognize that seminary education needs to change. معظم الناس داخل الكنيسة الناشءه او missional الحركة الاعتراف بأن احتياجات المدرسة والتعليم للتغيير. Few are trying to change. قليلة هي السعي الى تغيير. I thank God for Biblical Seminary’s approach and hope they succeed. واشكر الله لنهج المدرسة الانجيليه ، ونأمل ان تنجح.
I was unable to go to the track offered by Shane Claiborne yesterday…the room was packed and a line was forming outside. لم أكن قادرا على الذهاب الى المسار التي تتيحها Shane claiborne امس… كانت الغرفة معباه وسطر تشكيل الخارج. I realized that if I got a seat it meant that someone else wouldn’t, so I decided to skip it. كنت ادرك انني لو حصلت على مقعد وهذا يعني ان شخصا آخر لا ، ولذلك قررت ان القفز عليها. I was hoping to not only hear what he had to say, but to introduce myself to him. وكنت آمل ان لا نسمع ما قاله ، ولكن لنفسي أن أعرض له. There really aren’t that many neo-monastic communities around, so it would be good to be networked a bit. هناك فعلا ليست من المحافظين الجدد ان العديد من المجتمعات في جميع انحاء الرهبانيه ، لذلك فانه من الجيد ان يكون بالشبكات قليلا.

Once again, InterVarsity impresses me with their open-handedness. ومرة اخرى ، مع intervarsity الاختام لي المفتوحه ضد الطغيان. They’ve given a good deal of stage time to World Vision. ونظرا لانها قد قمت قدرا كبيرا من الوقت لمرحلة الرءيه العالمية. Two nights ago the emphasis was on the aids crisis in Africa. قبل ليلتين كان هناك تركيز على ازمة الايدز فى افريقيا. We heard from a world vision spokesman, Princess Zulu, and Bono (via a satellite feed). سمعنا من الناطق باسم منظمة الرءيه العالمية ، اميرة الزولو ، وبونو (عن طريق القمر الصناعى والاعلاف. It is exciting to see God’s people take a proactive role on something so important (for a change). ومن المثير ان نرى شعب الله يأخذ دور استباقي على شيء في غاية الاهميه (للتغيير).

Rick Warren spoke last night. ريك وارين وتحدث في الليلة الماضية. He shared briefly from his وقال انه يشاطر وجيزة من عمله PEACE plan خطة السلام . I have some issues with a lot of what Rick Warren has written in the past, but I am truly glad that he has made this most recent shift in his ministry focus. ولدى بعض المسائل مع الكثير من ريك وارين ما كتبت في الماضي ، إلا انني سعيد حقا انه قد جعل من هذه احدث تحولا في التركيز وزارته. I hope that other suburban pastors jump on this bandwagon. وآمل ان اذهب القساوسه الضواحي الاخرى بشأن هذا عربة.
