lesson 7: …and be willing to set a high standard الدرس 7 :… ويكون على استعداد للمجموعة على مستوى عال

While we must be open-handed, we must also set a high standard. وفي حين اننا ينبغي ان تكون مفتوحة باب سلم ، ويجب علينا أيضا ان مجموعة عالية المستوى. One of the most common criticisms I get is that I have an insider/outsider way of discipleship. واحدة من الانتقادات الاكثر شيوعا هو ان احصل على الأول ان يكون من الداخل / الخارج على سبيل التلمذه. Monasticism assumes that members are to live by a rule of faith. الرهبنه ويفترض ان الاعضاء في العيش عليه قاعدة من قواعد الايمان. Since Missio Dei draws heavily from the monastic tradition, we have a high standard for members that we don’t have for non-members. منذ missio dei يعتمد بدرجه كبيرة من الرهبانيه التقاليد ، لدينا مستوى عال من الخدمات لأعضاء انه ليس لدينا لغير الأعضاء.

While this may certainly create a sort of “in group”, I think one can get around this by having a “low” standard for fellowship. وفي حين ان هذا قد بالتأكيد عمل نوع من "في مجموعة" ، وأعتقد ان احد يستطيع ذلك عن طريق الالتفاف حول وجود "منخفض" الموحدة للزماله. In other words, have a completely open table, where you invite anyone who will come, and share all good things with one another. وبعباره اخرى ، ان يكون الجدول مفتوحا تماما ، حيث كنت أدعو أي شخص من سيأتي ، وحصة كل الاشياء الجيدة مع بعضها البعض.

In most churches, you have attenders AND membership AND staff AND pastors. في معظم الكنائس ، وحاضرون لديك عضوية والموظفين والقساوسه. Missio Dei attempts to flatten that by having only one distinction: people who live by the rule and those who don’t. Those who live by the rule serve others and try to teach our way of life, but in no way are we supposed to see ourselves as “better.” هذه من العيش وفقا لسيادة خدمة الاخرين ومحاولة لتعليم أسلوب حياتنا ، ولكن ليس نحن من المفترض ان نرى انفسنا "أفضل".

In the beginning, we set the bar too low. في البداية ، ونحن مجموعة المحامين منخفضه للغاية. We assumed that we should start with a watered-down version of the vision and then slowly lead people towards the ideal. ونحن من المفترض انه ينبغي لنا ان نبدأ مع الماء الى اسفل نسخة من رؤية وقيادة الشعب بعد ذلك ببطء نحو الهدف الامثل. Jesus’ first sermons in Luke and Matthew were pretty bold. يسوع في اول خطبة لوقا ومتى كانت جميلة جريئة. He didn’t ease them into it. وقال انه لا تخفف منها فيه. He was patient with his disciples, to be sure, but he didn’t start with Sermon-on-the-Mount-lite and then slowly build to Sermon-on-the-Mount-robust. وكان المريض له مع التوابع ، ومما لا شك فيه ، ولكنه لم تبدأ مع خطبه على - - - جبل فان Lite - وبعد ذلك ببطء الى بناء على خطبة - - - فان جبل متين. His followers tried to kill him, since his rule seemed to rigorous. أتباعه وحاول قتله ، اذ يبدو ان حكمة صارمه. Pachomius tried again with a new group, this time with a MORE rigorous rule. Pachomius حاول مرة اخرى مع فريق جديد ، هذه المرة مع أكثر صرامه القاعده. The second time, it stuck. المرة الثانية ، تمسك.
