lesson 6: be open-handed… الدرس 6 : ان تكون مفتوحة وسلم…

One of the things we’ve done right is to be an open-handed community. وأحد الأشياء التي قمنا به هو الحق في ان تكون مفتوحة وسلم المجتمع. We don’t try hard to “keep” people–if someone is considering being a part of a different community, we want to help them discern through it without assuming that they should stay. ونحن لا نحاول بجد الى "ابقاء" الناس - اذا كان احد يجري النظر في جزء من المجتمع المختلفة ، ونحن نريد ان نستشف من خلال مساعدتها ومن دون افتراض انها يجب ان تبقى. We also try to invite folks from other churches to be a part of the things we do. ونحاول ايضا ان يدعو الناس الى الكنائس الاخرى من ان تكون جزءا من الاشياء التى نقوم به. Being territorial is petty and causes stress. ويجري الاقليمية والبسيطة هي اسباب الاجهاد. Small churches always run the risk of fighting for each member. الكنائس الصغيرة دائما عرضة لخطر التى تكافح من اجل كل الاعضاء. Don’t. لا. Let people be free to stay or go. دع الناس تكون حرة في البقاء او الذهاب. Be about the business of helping people discern how they are to be involved instead of putting pressure on them. يكون عن الاعمال التجارية للمساعدة الناس على تبين كيف لها ان تكون قادرة على المشاركة بدلا من الضغط عليها.

We’ve also been intentional in building relationships with organizations. لقد قمنا أيضا متعمدا في بناء علاقات مع المنظمات. Missio Dei is a part of the Baptist General Conference. Missio dei هو جزء من المعمدانيه المؤتمر العام. We’re also seeking a dual affiliation with the Mennonite Church USA. نحن نسعى ايضا مزدوجة الانتماء مينونايت الكنيسة مع الولايات المتحدة الامريكية. In addition, we’re partnering with InterVarsity to do campus ministry. وبالاضافة الى ذلك ، نحن مع الشراكه intervarsity ان تفعل وزارة الحرم الجامعي. To some folks, this seems a bit much. لبعض الناس ، وهذا يبدو قليلا كثيرا. But it keeps us from becoming insular, stagnant, and self-absorbed. ولكن يبقى لنا من ان يصبح الجزر ، الراكدة ، والذاتي استيعابه. It helps us to realize that our business is to cultivate a movement of disciples on the West Bank. وهو يساعدنا على ان ندرك ان عملنا هو لزراعة حركة التوابع على الضفة الغربية. What their affiliation is is irrelevant. ما هو انتماؤهم غير ذي صلة. Denominationalism is almost dead. Denominationalism يكاد يكون ميتا. Instead, we need to see groups as “theological streams.” It is healthy to drink from multiple streams. وبدلا من ذلك ، نحن بحاجة الى ان نرى المجموعات "تيارات لاهوتية." انها صحيه للشرب من تيارات متعددة.
