aka “Lost” اكا "فقدت"

I just finished reading Jim Henderson’s (he’s from انا فقط الانتهاء من القراءة للجيم هندرسون (انه من Off the Map من الخارطه ) ( Aka “Lost.” اكا "فقدت".

I really wanted to like this book. انا حقا يريد ان مثل هذا الكتاب. I did. فعلت. I have lots of beefs with conventional evangelism, and this book promised to demystify evangelism and make it part of the natural flow of life. لقد وجد الكثير من الشكاوى مع التبشير الملائكي التقليديه ، وهذا الكتاب وعدت الى ازالة الغموض عن التبشير الملائكي وجعله جزءا من التدفق الطبيعى للحياة. Unfortunately, it achieves this by reducing evangelism to almost any activity that expresses kindness. ومما يؤسف له ان يحقق هذا عن طريق الحد من التبشير الملائكي الى ما يقرب من اي نشاط من شأنه ان يعرب عن اللطف. According to Henderson, even “walking around a lake and praying” is evangelism (p. 95). ووفقا لهندرسون ، وحتى "المشي حول البحيره والصلاة" التبشير الملائكي (ص 95).

I believe that Henderson is right in his effort to deconstruct evangelism as it is currently understood. واعتقد ان هندرسون هو الحق في جهوده الراميه الى deconstruct التبشير الملائكي كما هو مفهوم حاليا. But his reconstructive proposal doesn?t go far enough. لكن هذا الاقتراح بناء ثانية doesn؟ ر تذهب بعيدا بما فيه الكفايه. This may be because he never really defines “evangelism” or even “gospel.” In his desire to make evangelism more accessible and less intimidating, he tears it down to much, in my opinion. وقد يكون هذا ابدا لانه يعرف حقا "التبشير" او حتى "الانجيل". رغبته في جعل التبشير الملائكي ايسر منالا واقل تهديدا ، وقال انه الدموع الى الاسفل كثيرا ، في رأيي.

Under the surface of Henderson?s writing, I sensed that he was defining “evangelism” as “sharing our life with non-Christians” (who Henderson refers to as “the Missing” instead of “the Lost.” I think that this is a great starting point. But Henderson falls into the common trap of playing to the lowest-common-denominator that is prevalent within the emerging church. For example, the emerging church is quick to challenge the clergy/laity distinction. This unfortunately results in a church filled with lay people instead of a church filled with clergy. This plays out in the sphere of evangelism by making evangelism about authentic attempts at showing kindness, without much concern for content. So instead of talking about how we can foster a deeper understanding and experience of faith among Christians and then encourage them to authentically share all of their life with others as they build open friendships, Henderson plays to the lowest common denominator and says that any authentic sharing of life with others is evangelism. تحت السطح هندرسون؟ ق كتابه ، لمست انه كان تعريف "التبشير الملائكي" بانها "تبادل حياتنا مع غير المسيحيين" (من هندرسون كما يشير الى "المفقودين" بدلا من "فقدت". واظن ان هذا هو نقطة انطلاق كبيرة. هندرسون ولكنه يقع في فخ المشتركة من اللعب الى القاسم المشترك الادنى وهذا هو السائد داخل الكنيسة الناشءه ، فعلى سبيل المثال ، ان الكنيسة هي في الظهور السريع لرجال الدين والتحدي / العلماني تمييز. ومما يؤسف له ان هذه النتائج في الكنيسة مليءه تكمن الشعب بدلا من كنيسة مليءه رجال الدين وهذا يلعب بها في مجال التبشير الملائكي عن طريق التبشير الملائكي عن الحجيه في محاولات اظهار الشفقه ، دون ان تأبه للمحتوى. بدلا من ذلك نتحدث عن كيفية تعزيز وتعميق فهم تجربة الايمان ، ثم بين المسيحيين وتشجيعهم على المشاركة في كل بشكل أصلي من حياتهم مع الاخرين لانها بناء الصداقات المفتوحه ، وهندرسون يلعب الى ادنى قاسم مشترك ويقول ان اي الحجيه تقاسم مع الآخرين في الحياة هو التبشير الملائكي.

In spite of my criticism, the book has some great insights. وبالرغم من انتقادي ، وفي الكتاب بعض الافكار العظيمة. It is a great book to help someone break the ice, to begin to start noticing people, or to help them grow authentically in their friendships with “the missing.” Many Christians are paralyzed by fear when it comes to evangelism because they have been duped into thinking evangelism is about making a sales pitch, winning an argument, or articulating arcane mystical truths. انه لمن عظيم كتاب للمساعدة على اذابه الجليد شخص ما ، للبدء في البداية ان يلاحظ الناس ، او لمساعدتهم على النمو بشكل أصلي في صداقات مع "المفقودين". كثير من المسيحيين مصابان بالشلل الخوف عندما يتعلق الامر التبشير الملائكي لأنها كانت duped الكرازه هي الى التفكير حول جعل مبيعات الملعب الفوز حجة ، او غامضة باطني توضيح الحقائق. To compensate for this book?s weaknesses, I?d recommend that it should be read alongside a book like Brian McLaren?s للتعويض عن هذا الكتاب؟ الضعف دا ، أنا؟ د ان يوصي وينبغي ان يقرأ جنبا الى جنب مع كتاب مثل بريان McLaren؟ ق More Ready Than You Realize اكثر استعدادا من تدركون -which offers helpful content but shares some of the same sensibilities as aka Lost . - من المفيد الذي يقدم المحتوى ولكن بعض الأسهم من نفس الاحاسيس كما فقدت اكا.
