Trimming the Fat الدهن التشذيب

Amy and I parked our car on Saturday for an indefinite period of time. أنا وأمي واقفة لدينا سيارة يوم السبت لفترة غير محددة من الوقت. Since Amy quit her FT teaching job with St. Paul Public Schools to get part time work teaching english on the West Bank, and since I am in fundraising limbo, our income has shrivelled. منذ الرحيل ايمي قدم لها وظيفة التدريس مع سانت بول المدارس العامة جزءا من الوقت للحصول على تعليم اللغة الانجليزيه عن العمل في الضفة الغربية ، وبما انني في عالم النسيان لجمع الاموال ، وقد دخلنا منكمش. We’ve decided that driving a car and paying for insurance are non-essentials. قررنا ان يقود سيارة ودفع التأمين ليست من الضروريات. We’ve also cut back on lots of other things like going out to eat, our blockbuster online subscription, casually going to movies, etc. Since we’ve been pooling our resources as a household to buy groceries and I’ve been making meals for folks on most nights, our grocery budget has gotten smaller too. لقد قمنا أيضا تقليص الكثير من امور اخرى مثل الخروج الى تناول الطعام ، لدينا قنبلة على الانترنت الاشتراك ، عرضا الذهاب الى السينما ، وما جرى منذ قمنا بتجميع مواردنا بوصفها المنزلية لشراء البقاله وانا كنت صنع وجبات الطعام على ان معظم الناس ليلة وليلة ، لدينا ميزانيه البقاله بدأت أصغر أيضا.

We’re not quite living within our means yet, but we’re almost there. نحن ليست واردة على الذين يعيشون فى حدود امكانياتنا حتى الآن ، ولكن نحن تقريبا هناك. Our hope and prayer is that when I’ve raised funds we can still live within the budget we set for ourselves now. ويحدونا الامل والصلاة هو انه عندما قمت بجمع اموال لا يزال بوسعنا أن نعيش في حدود الميزانيه التي وضعناها لأنفسنا الآن.
