Some Random Thoughts of Evangelism 전도 어떤 임의의 생각

Earlier today, I took part in a regional gathering of InterVarsity staff.  I am the newest member of the North Central Region of InterVarsity.  I think I’m the only person from my region who has no experience with campus ministry.  I come to InterVarsity with a background in church ministry, most recently as an urban church planter (my job is to start a West Bank chapter that is a shared ministry of InterVarsity AND 오늘 아침에, 나는 지역 모임에 참여 intervarsity 직원합니다. 나는 북한의 중부 지역의 구성원의 최신 intervarsity합니다. 난 지금도 내 지역 사람이없는 유일한 사람은 경험이 캠퍼스 사역합니다. intervarsity 오면 교회에서 사역을 배경으로, 대부분의 도시로서 최근에 교회에 재배자 (나의 직업은 요르단강 서안을 시작하는 intervarsity 부와 공유하는 장 Missio Dei missio 데이 ).

Many parachurch organizations grew out of the failure of the Church to engage it context missionally. 많은 parachurch 단체의 교회 성장의 실패 아웃이 문맥을 상대할 missionally합니다. In recent years, many within the Church have begun to realize that that ecclesiology is more that a set of tasks.  And many folks realized that things like community and evangelism weren’t seperate things at all.  About 10 years ago, folks began to read books like the Celtic Way of Evangelism and slowly woke up to the realization that community is an integral part in evangelism (though many folks throughout history already knew this little secret). 최근 몇 년간, 많은 시간은 교회가 더 ecclesiology이 시작되는를 실현하는 일련의 작업을합니다. 그리고 많은 사람도 깨달았 별도의 일들과 같은 지역 사회와 전도는 전혀없습니다. 약 10 년 전, 여러분을 읽는 시작했다 셀틱 같은 책을 천천히 일어 났 전도 방법이 지역 사회의 실현에서 중요한 부분은 전도 (다만 이미 알고 역사를 통틀어 많은 사람이 작은 비밀).

And so, today I found myself listeing to InterVarsity folk talking about evangelism.  InterVarsity uses a tool called a GIG (Group Investigating God) as their key evangelism tool.  These small communities of students gather to explore the Bible together.  And as much as I respect InterVarsity, they still tend to do things in a way divorced from ecclesiology.  They tend to see mission apart form ecclesia, just like Churches often see ecclesia apart from mission.  IT was evangelicalism, largely, that created parachurch organizations as a response to the Church’s failure to engage its culture missionally.  And while folks within groups like InterVarsity realize that it needs to embrace community, they haven’t really gotten to the point where they’ve embraced the Church.  I hope the sort of partnership I’ve formed with InterVarsity is a taste of things to come. 그래서, 오늘 저는 제 자신이 얘기를 listeing 민속 intervarsity 전도를합니다. intervarsity 공연이라고하는 도구를 사용 (그룹을 조사 하나님)를 그들의 주요 전도 도구를합니다. 이러한 소규모 지역 사회의 학생이 모여 함께 성경을 탐구합니다.와만큼 당신을 intervarsity을 존중, 그들은 여전히 이혼하는 경향이 ecclesiology 방식으로이 일을합니다. 그들은 임무를 볼 경향이 떨어져 양식을 ecclesia, 교회처럼 자주 ecclesia 별개로 임무를 참조합니다. 그것은 복음주의, 크게, 그것에 대한 응답으로 조직을 만들어 parachurch 교회의 고장의 문화를 맡아줄 missionally합니다. intervarsity 실현을하는 동안이 같은 사람이 필요로 그룹을 포용 사회, 그들은별로이라도 교회의 시점에 그들이 포용합니다. 바란다 공동체 정신의 정렬 난 ve 형성의 맛과 intervarsity가 와야합니다.
