Well, it’s official.  I’m now a staffer with InterVarsity.  This means that حسنا انه الرسمية. انا الان مع موظف intervarsity وهذا يعني ان Missio Dei Missio dei and و InterVarsity Intervarsity
are starting a joint campus ministry to U of M West Bank students.  The بدأت وزارة مشترك في الحرم الجامعي لش م من طلاب الضفة الغربية. فإن
next 6 months should be particularly interesting.  But first things 6 اشهر المقبلة ينبغي ان تكون للاهتمام بوجه خاص. ولكن الأمور الاولى
first: what should this thing be called? اولا : ما ينبغي ان يسمى هذا الشيء؟

To play the Campus Ministry Name Game , just submit a name تلعب لعبة باسم وزارة الحرم الجامعي ، مجرد ان يقدم اسم
that you think would fit well for a campus ministry that is ان كنت تعتقد ان من شأنه ان يتناسب تماما لحرم وزارة وهذا هو
community-focused and missional, in a diverse neighborhood.  It should تركز على المجتمعات المحلية وmissional ، في حي متنوعة. وينبغي ان
have an artistic quality, since the West Bank is home to the University الجوده الفنية لها ، حيث ان الضفة الغربية هي موطن الجامعة
of Minnesota’s ولاية مينيسوتا لل Arts Quarter الفنون الربع .

The game ends by January 15.  The winner gets a special, surprise prize.  I promise it will be a good prize. اللعبة وينتهي في 15 كانون الثاني / يناير. الفائز يحصل خاص ، مفاجاه جائزة. اعدكم انها ستكون جيدة جائزة.

    Anything with an “X” or play on Christian words are cool. أي شيء مع "س" أو لعب على الكلمات الراءعه المسيحيه.

    Ok Jeff, that was eXtremely funny. جيف طيب ، ان كان مضحكا للغاية. I laughed out loud. الاول ضحك بصوت عال. But I guess that is what I should eXpect from a Xool BloX like thiX. ولكن اعتقد ان هذا هو ما أود ان تتوقع من xool blox مثل thix.

    All joking aside…I’m really leaning towards “the Jesus folk.” I know that it could be sorta lame, but it is really simple, yet has a certain quality to it that could work well for west Bank students. جميع التنكيت جانبا… أنا حقا تميل "يسوع القوم :" انا اعرف انه قد يكون من sorta عرجاء ، ولكنها في الواقع بسيطة ، ومع ذلك فقد نوعية معينة لانها يمكن ان تعمل جيدا للطلاب الضفة الغربية. I don’t want something super cool or trendy, yet I don’t want something generic like “West bank student ministry” that doesn’t really communicate anything. أنا لا أريد شيئا من رائع او عصري ، ومع ذلك انا لا اريد شيئا عامة مثل "الضفة الغربية وطالب الوزاره" ان لا شيء حقا في الاتصال. “the Jesus folk” is unpretentious and not brand-ish, yet still has a sweet earthy quality that I dig. "يسوع القوم" هو العلامه التجارية وليس unpretentious - ish ، ومع ذلك لا يزال لديه حلوة ترابي نوعية انني حفر. PLUS, thejesusfolk.com is available. بالاضافة الى ذلك ، thejesusfolk.com متاح. In fact, I think I nab the domain name for shites and giggles, because I like it enough to use it for something else down the road even if we don’t go with the name “the Jesus folk” for our student ministry. وفي الواقع ، اعتقد انه اعتقل لاسم النطاق shites والضحك ، لأنني احب ان يكفي لاستخدامها لاشياء اخرى أسفل هذا الطريق حتى لو كنا لا تتناسب مع اسم "يسوع القوم" لدينا وزارة الطلاب.

    What about just “simple folk”? وماذا عن مجرد "قوم بسيطة"؟ That’s simple - has an anabaptist/justice/countercultural feel about it. هذا بسيط -- له قائل بتجديد عماد / قضاء / countercultural تشعر حيال ذلك.

    Nice blog by the way .. نيس بلوق من جانب الطريق.. I read it often (several times a week) قرأت في كثير من الاحيان) عدة مرات في الاسبوع)

    I’m glad to know that someone out there is reading me انا سعيد لمعرفة ان هناك شخص من اصل القراءة لي :)
    Simple folk is good…but the clencher for me is that thejesusfolk.com is available. بسيطة قوم جيد clencher… ولكن بالنسبة لي هو ان thejesusfolk.com متاح. It is so hard to find a good domain name these days ومن الصعب العثور على ذلك جيدا اسم نطاق هذه الايام :)
