Church follows Mission Kirche folgt Mission

I’m not exactly sure I jibe with this statement.  If the church IS mission, then any active missional engagement that is done by 2 or more in the name of Christ IS church.  However, if by "church" we mean something more institutional or ritualized or more of what we think of as "church," then I wholeheartedly agree.  At any rate, it is a worthy matter for discussion. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich genau Halse mit dieser Erklärung an. Wenn die Kirche ist Mission, dann eine aktive Engagement Missional das geschieht durch 2 oder mehr im Namen der Kirche Christus ist. Allerdings, wenn von "Kirche" meinen wir etwas mehr institutionellen oder ritualisierte oder mehr von dem, was wir denken, der als "Kirche", dann kann ich voll und ganz zustimmen. Auf jeden Fall ist es ein lohnendes Thema für Diskussionen.
