A Christmas Poem Un poema de Navidad

I don’t write much poetry, but I wrote the following as an act of worship to our Lord: Yo no escribir mucho la poesía, pero me escribió lo siguiente como un acto de adoración a nuestro Señor:

Ode to a Forgotten Babe Oda a un olvidado Babe

When Yuletide bliss Cuando Yuletide Bliss

forgets olvida

the somber tone of Deity enfleshed, el tono sombrío de la Deidad la carne,

and when gaiety thick y cuando alegría de espesor

stifles ahoga

contemplation of the odorous manger; la contemplación de la oloroso pesebre;

when all the world cuando todo el mundo

tethers amarres

the numinous to a pine bough, la numinous a un pino Bough,

We will remember you, Vamos a recordar a usted,

We will make room for you. Vamos a dejar espacio para usted.

We will wonder at you. Le pregunto a usted.
