Doing Evangelism by Being a Church ويجري التبشير به من قبل احدى الكنائس

I’m reading through أنا من خلال القراءة Seek the Peace of the City البحث عن السلام من المدينة .
At this point, I need to mention that when I say "I’m reading a book," وعند هذه النقطه ، أود أن أذكر أنه عندما أقول "انا قراءة كتاب ،"
I don’t mean that I am reading every word in said book.  Many people انا لا يعني انني قراءة كل كلمة في الكتاب : قال. كثير من الناس

currently applicable.  I don’t buy books to "read" them…I buy them as المطبق حاليا. انا لا لشراء الكتب "اقرأ" عليها… كما انني شرائها
resources for future use. الموارد من اجل استخدامها في المستقبل.

Anyways, I’m am currently looking through على أي حال ، أنا أشعر يبحث عن طريق Seek the Peace of the City البحث عن السلام من المدينة by Eldin Villafane.  It is a pretty good book on urban ministry.  On page 25, Villafane quotes Orlando Costas’ "The Integrity of Mission."  I’d like to bring that quote to your attention: villafane الدين من قبل ، وهو كتاب جيد جدا في المناطق الحضريه وزارة. فى الصفحه 25 ، واورلاندو كوستاس villafane ونقلت "سلامة البعثة." يهمني ان أشير الى ان تحقيق اقتبس انتباهكم الى :

Therefore, the church, which is not the Kingdom, is nevertheless its most visable expression and its most faithful interpreter in our age…as the community of believers from all times and places, the church both embodies the Kingdom and its life and witnesses to its presence and future in its mission. ولذلك ، فإن الكنيسة ، التي ليست هي المملكه ، ومع ذلك هو التعبير الأكثر وضوحا وأكثر المترجم الامين في عصرنا… وكما في مجتمع المؤمنين من كل زمان ومكان ، والكنيسة ، كل من المملكه والتي تجسد في حياته والى الشهود الوجود والمستقبل في مهمتها.

referenced, the sad reality is that few of us have dared to risk our المشار اليها ، فان الواقع المحزن هو ان عددا قليلا منا يتجرأ على المخاطرة لدينا
comfort and "do" church in such a way. والمتعه "ليفعل" الكنيسة على هذا النحو.

Many churches (at least the ones with which I am most familiar) tend to emphasize witness to the exclusion of embodiment. Such العديد من الكنائس (على الأقل تلك التي انا اكثر درايه) تميل الى التأكيد على الشهود الى استبعاد تجسيدا لهذه
churches sacrifice the messy things involved with embodying the Kingdom الكنائس نضحي فوضى الاشياء التي تجسد المشاركة مع المملكه
(like ethnic diversity, economic justice, etc.) in the name of (مثل التنوع العرقي ، والعدالة الاقتصادية ، وما الى ذلك) في اسم
increasing their capacity for witness.  The thing is, doing church in زيادة قدرتها على الشاهد. الشيء ، والعمل في الكنيسة
such a way that embodies the values of the Kingdom is controversial. على هذا النحو الذي يجسد القيم للمملكة هي امر مثير للجدل.
We’d rather just tell people how to have eternal life.  But the thing كنا فقط بل اقول للناس كيف لها الحياة الابديه. ولكن الشيء
is, the Church is anemic without embodiment.  We have to embody the هو ، ان الكنيسة هي تجسيد دون مصاب الانيميا. يتعين علينا ان تجسد
Kingdom as well as proclaim it.  We have to embody a bit of heaven, not المملكه فضلا عن انها تعلن وعلينا ان تجسد شيئا من السماء ، لا
only tell people how to go to heaven when they die. فقط اقول للناس كيف الذهاب الى الجنة عندما يموت.

We cannot ونحن لا يمكن ان
be enslaved to utility; if someone isn’t willing to buy our Gospel if ان استرقاق لفائدة ؛ فاذا كان شخص ما ليست على استعداد لشراء اذا كان لنا الانجيل
it requires them to rub shoulders with people different than them, then وهو يتطلب منهم لابد ان الرب مع الناس من مختلف عليها ، ثم
they aren’t ready for the Gospel.  If people want to embody the انهم ليسوا مستعدين للانجيل. إذا كان الناس يريدون أن تجسد
Kingdom, but only with other upper-middle-class-wasps, then they don’t المملكه ، ولكن فقط مع غيرها من الشريحه العليا من الطبقة المتوسطة - الزنابير ، ثم انها لا
understand what it means to "be church."  It is never ok to fudge on the Sermon on the Mount in order to make it easier for people to be in a faith community. فهم ما يعنيه ان "الكنيسة" ، وهو موافق لالهراء ابدا على الخطبه على الجبل لكي يصبح من الأسهل على الناس ان يكون في نية المجتمع.

Ultimately, وفي نهاية المطاف ،
I believe that we will be the most effective in our witness when we are واعتقد اننا سنكون اكثر فعالية في منطقتنا ونحن عندما شاهد
ardent in our embodiment.  The world longs for a church that lives what وطيد في تجسيد. فى العالم يتوق لحياة الكنيسة ان ما
it proclaims.  The world needs a church that shows them who Jesus is وتعلن. العالم في حاجة الى الكنيسة وتبين لهم ان يسوع هو من
before it tells them who He is.  Perhaps the most effective means of قبل ان يقول لهم من هو. ولعل أهم وسيلة فعالة لل
evangelism is simply BEING the church–in all of the controversial and provocative ways that Jesus envisions. الكرازه هي ببساطة الكنيسة - في جميع الاستفزازيه المثيرة للجدل وسبل يتصور ان يسوع.
