O objetivo da missão

No borne precedente, meu blorge do amigo deixou o seguinte comentário:
a família [da igreja] não pode apenas ser missional se não estiver extraindo povos a um corpo relativamente saudável.
Eu concordo. O objetivo da missão da igreja é extrair povos no relacionamento com a igreja e nosso deus de Triune. Se nós acoplarmos na missão que extrai povos em uma maneira horribly dysfunctional de se relacionar a outro e espiritual e maneira theologically prejudicial de se relacionar com deus, a seguir nós não estamos acoplando na missão. A missão tem sempre um objetivo. O objetivo de nossa missão é aos povos do disciple na maneira de Jesus. Nós devemos modelar nossa missão após missão earthly de Jesus'. Porque foi emitido, somos assim nós. E se nós não estivermos saindo trazer povos na saúde, então nós não estamos acoplando na missão Christian.
Esta é parte da razão que eu começo a virada quando a palavra do grande-nome de povos da fé como o Benny Hinn vem à cidade. Os milhares assistem a suas reuniões. Muitos começam “conservados.” Quando eu gripe sobre o Benny, alguns de meus amigos dirão coisas como, “não é QUE os mau-povos estão começando conservados, após tudo.” Se você definir “conservado” como “sair do inferno,” então eu suponho que eu não posso discutir. Mas o salvation biblical é mais sobre uma maneira nova de viver healthfully e authentically com o deus através de Jesus Christ, pelo poder e pela presença do espírito. Este salvation é eternal, mas tem que fazer com mais do que apenas o afterlife.
Assim, indo para trás à indicação dos blorge, eu concordo que a igreja necessita extrair povos em um corpo saudável. Mission is about bringing people into a live-giving and transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.

I like what you said about healthy and salvation. Salvation: to be made whole. How our we made whole and complete? Is it through saying a few magic words? Like you said, it is about healing… and healing is done inwardly by the spirit often in communitywhere other folks are yearning to be healed and become healthy.

Thanks for visiting! Being a healing community is incredibly difficult. I think we have to abandon some of the typical external indicators of success if we are going to be committed to bringing health to the unhealthy.

I like your blog. I am a new visitor. I have not heard of the “missional” church before — it is a very intriguing concept. I am encouraged by your words. keep it up. People should be, and will be drawn to the church by the Gospel — that we are sinners in need of a savior, who gives everything to us freely. Church attendance does not matter. I have always been skeptical of people who equate attendance with a “successful” church. The mega-church thing is so sickening sometimes. Where ever the Christ is preached, it is a success. And don’t stop your criticism of false teachers! A little bit of good mixed in with a lot of bad is very dangerous. We are all to be Bereans.
