Happy Feliz

I’m pretty happy right now. Estoy muy feliz ahora mismo. As you may know, I am a church planter, and starting a church is costly and difficult on many levels. Como ustedes saben, soy un plantador de iglesia, y el comienzo de una iglesia es costoso y difícil en muchos niveles. Though we have a good deal of help, things are tight. Aunque tenemos una buena cantidad de ayuda, las cosas están apretados. Today, a friend of mine from Seminary (she’s in the Marriage in Family Therapy Program) lent me her drum kit for a while. Hoy en día, un amigo mío de Seminario (que está en el matrimonio en Programa de Terapia Familiar) me prestó su batería por un tiempo. She’s open to selling it to us as well. Está abierto a vender a nosotros también. Almost all of our sound equipments and stuff has been provided with little to no cost to us. A word of wisdom to people in church plants or to those thinking about it: a wide network of friends and fans is worth a LOT. Una palabra de sabiduría a las personas en la iglesia o las plantas a las que pensar en ello: una amplia red de amigos y fans vale mucho. It is more valuable than money. Es más valioso que el dinero. With a network of friends (which is the reason, by the way, it is worthwhile to affiliate with a group–in my case the Baptist General Conference), you can get alot of stuff given or lent to you.
